Each day the "Corvallis Gazette-Times" publishes a section of the newspaper entitled "On the Record." This section is filled with all of the daily Police calls of the City and State Police. The following passages should give you a pretty good idea of the kind of people that live in Corvallis. This truely is a small town. All of the posted "On the Record" excerpts are actual police calls which are obtained from the daily newspaper. Feel free to share these with your friends. 2:25p.m. April 12---A caller said an irate man berated him for the ways he was taking care of his cows. The man said he would call the Humane Society if the cows were not milked "before they blew up."

7:37p.m. April 20---A man reported that someone threw a banana peel at him on Campus Way and then laughed.

3:26a.m. April 10---A caller reported a man tried to enter a window at Ninth Street and Jefferson Avenue. The suspect was described as "big" and "male." No further details were given.

9:08p.m. April 22---A woman reported that as she tried to get into her truck, a male stood between her and the door and blocked her way. Police were unable to locate him.
